Position summary

A typical day of the Valuations analyst could comprise working Excel models, running valuations, monitoring feeds of critical data, understanding nuances of derivatives, on-boarding new clients, setting up new trades, resolving client queries etc.


Duties & accountabilities 

The duties of an Associate include but are not limited to the following:-



  • Monitoring of automated valuation systems and quality control in response to reported exceptions.

  • Running manual valuation tools and processes, including trade data setup for complex derivatives.

  • Responding to requests from clients including routine confirmations and price challenges.

  • Managing market data activities associated with routine delivery of independent valuations to clients, including response to alerts, manual price checks etc.
